Poplar Brings Back Solid Tennis Team

Poplar’s tennis team, under the direction of coach Aaron Snyder, features nine players this season.
The Indians enjoy good experience as only two players are new to the program. “Everybody else has played,” Snyder said.
Athletes expecting to lead Poplar include number one singles’ player Catherine Bear, a senior, and the number one doubles team of seniors Macey Dionne and Sydney Cummins.
Siera LeMay is anticipated to be the number two singles’ player.
“Three and four singles is yet to be determined,” Snyder said.
The number two doubles’ team consists of Kahomani Charboneau and James Redboy.
At the divisional meet, results are bases on four singles’ matches and two doubles’ matches.
“I want the players to improve and have fun,” Snyder said.
As far as placing at divisionals, the coach said, “Whatever comes, comes.”
