Dethman Selected For Montana-Wyoming Game
Sydney Dethman of Froid/ Lake has been selected for the Montana-Wyoming basketball game featuring the top high school players from the two states. The games are scheduled for June 11, in Sheridan, Wyo., and June 12 in Billings, with the girls playing before the boys.
Dethman, an All-State selection, has signed to play collegiate basketball at Fresno State. Because of a prior commitment, Dethman is not expected to take part in the Montana-Wyoming games.
Also selected by the Midland Roundtable for Montana’s girls team were Forsyth’s Lindsey Hein, Great Falls’ Allison Harris, Big Timber’s Hailee Brandon, Fort Benton’s Aspen Giese, Bozeman’s Macy Mayer, Billings Central’s Isabelle Erickson, Scobey’s Gracee Lekvold, Kalispell Glacier’s Emma Anderson, Helena Capital’s Dani Bartsch and Helena Capital’s Paige Bartsch.
The Montana team leads the series by a 33-13 margin.
The boys picked for the Montana team were Scobey’s Aiden Fishell, Missoula Sentinel’s Alex Germer, Scobey’s Caden Handran, Missoula Sentinel’s Tony Frohlich-Fair, Great Falls’ Levi Torgerson, Billings Skyview’s Ky Kouba, Great Falls’ Drew Wyman, Billings Skyview’s Camron Ketchum, Billings Central’s Malachi Stewart and Huntley Project’s Noah Bouchard.
Montana’s boys lead the series by a 61-27 margin.
