Junior High Athletes Place in Glasgow
Track athletes from Culbertson, Bainville and Froid/ Lake participated at the Glasgow junior high track meet on Saturday, April 17.
Culbertson scored 10 points for sixth-grade boys, four points for seventh-grade boys, 36 points for eighthgrade boys, 10 points for sixth-grade girls and four points for eighth-grade girls.
Bridger Salvevold took first in the 800 and fourth in the long jump for eighth-grade boys. Reese Moon took second in the 100 and third in the long jump for eighthgrade boys. Charles Firemoon placed fifth in the 200 and second in the 400 for sixthgrade boys. Will Salvevold finished sixth in the 400 for seventh- grade boys. Kaden Featherston took sixth in the shot put for seventh-grade boys. Josh Firemoon placed fifth in the long jump for seventh- grade boys.
Rebekah Ellerkamp finished third in the 800 for sixth-grade girls. Serenity Wilbanks took fourth in the 400 for eighth-grade girls. Peyton Labette placed fourth in the shot put for sixth-grade girls.
Bainville accounted for one point for sixth-grade boys, 46 points for seventh-grade girls and 32 points for eighthgrade girls. Haedyn Wills took sixth in the 100 for sixth-grade boys, Hailey Berwick took first in the 200 and 400, second in the high jump and third in the 100 for seventh-grade girls. Elsie Wilson placed second in the 100, second in the 200, third in the high jump and third in the 100-meter hurdles for eighth-grade girls, Miah Pippenger took fourth in the shot put for eighthgrade girls. Froid/Lake scored two points for seventh-grade boys, 24 for eighth-grade boys and two for eighth-grade girls.
Joe Robertson took first in the 400, second in the 800 and third in the 200 for eighth-grade boys. Owen Logan placed fifth in the shot put for seventh-grade boys.
Mara Salvevold placed fifth in the 200 for eighth-grade girls.
