Bulldogs Place At Meets
Bainville’s Kaden Hansen earned first place in the shot put to highlight the Bulldogs’ effort at the Savage Invitational on Wednesday, April 21.
The senior had a best of 4104 to take first in the event. He also placed fourth in the discus at 122-01.
Charles Butikofer placed second in the high jump by clearing 5-4. Samuel Butikofer took third by clearing 5-4.
Emma Poser finished third in the 1600 at 6:36.02 and fourth in the 800 at 2:57.87.
Micah Anderson earned fifth in the shot put at 29-01.
The Bainville Bulldogs accounted for solid performances against tough competition in Sidney on Saturday, April 24.
The Bulldogs finished with six points in the boys’ division and two points in the girls’ division.
Samuel Butikofer earned third place by clearing a personal best of 5-8 in the high jump.
Other highlights for Bainville’s boys included Kaden Hansen taking 11th in the discus and Drae Nelson finishing 16th in the 3200. Carter Winn was 20th in the triple jump.
On the girls’ side, Micah Anderson earned sixth in the shot put with a best of 32-06.
Emma Poser finished sixth in the 3200 with a time of 13:40.34.
Other strong notes included Poser taking 10th in the 800, Anderson taking 13th in the discus and Kendra Romo taking 19th in the javelin.
The Bulldogs will compete at the Lambert Invitational on Friday, April 30.
