Red Hawks Score At Sidney Invite

The Froid/Lake Red Hawks posted good times and distances during action in Sidney on Saturday, April 24.

Mason Dethman led the Red Hawks by clearing 5-6 and taking fifth in the high jump.

Javonne Nesbit placed sixth in the triple jump with a best of 38-5.

Other highlights for the boys’ team included Max Engelke taking seventh in the 400, Colt Miller taking 12th in the shot put and Bode Miller taking 12th in the javelin.

On the girls’ side, Carolyne Christoffersen placed fifth in the shot put with a best of 33-05. The distance is a new Froid school record.

Also performing well for the girls were Makaylee Elvsaas in 12th for the discus, Christoffersen in 15th for the discus and the 400-meter relay team of Christoffersen, Elvsaas, Emma Barrick and Jaeleigh Davidson in 13th.
