Wolf Point Tennis Players Battle Against Squads

Wolf Point’s tennis team competed during an invitational in Havre on Friday, April 23, and Saturday, April 24.

“They played Harlem, Poplar and Chinook. The girls competed and had some success,” Wolf Point Coach Dan Horsmon said. “I’m really proud of the girls. They’re working hard and getting better every day.”

Julie Garfield earned three singles’ victories during the week. Serenity Tibbetts-Ross won two singles’ matches. Also earning singles’ victories were Demi Kegley and Mahala Macdonald. Also playing were Angelica Sutton and Rebecca Landsrud.

The doubles’ team of Kaylee Johnson and Kaleah Miller-Toves scored two victories. Jody Houg and Makaya Smoker-DeWitt won one match. Also playing were Mahala Macdonald and Rebecca Landsrud.
