Red Hawks Place At Lambert Meet
Froid/Lake accounted for 38 points in the boys’ division and 13 points in the girls’ division during track action in Lambert on Friday, April 30.
Mason Dethman, a freshman, led the Red Hawks by taking second in the 100-meter dash (11.79 seconds) and second in the 400 (56.91 seconds).
Max Engelke, a sophomore, finished third in the 400 at 57.27 seconds.
Daniel Forizs placed fourth in the 100 with a time of 12 seconds. The freshman finished fourth in the 300-meter hurdles at 51.05 seconds.
Nate Stentoft ran the 800-meter dash in 2:33.56 for fourth-place honors. Colt Miller earned fifth place in the shot put with a mark of 39-05. Placing sixth were Issac Johnson with a best of 3410 in the triple jump and Bode Miller with a mark of 126-07 in the javelin.
Carolyne Christoffersen enjoyed a strong meet for Froid/Lake’s girls. The sophomore earned third in the shot put at 34-0, fourth in the javelin at 82-9 and fifth in the discus at 87-9.
Makaylee Elvsaas earned sixth in the discus at 82-04.
