Culbertson Drops Contest In Wolf Point

The Wolf Point Yellow Jackets got their bats going to break open a close game for a 14-2 girls’ softball victory over Culbertson on Tuesday, June 1.

Culbertson gained a 1-0 lead in the top of the first when Destiny Thompson singled and scored.

Wolf Point’s Sierra Hamilton doubled and later crossed the plate for a 1-1 deadlock in the second.

Culbertson earned a 2-1 lead in the top of the third when a single by Anissa Bengochea knocked home Thompson.

The Yellowjackets broke the game away in the fifth with four runs as Katelyn MacDonald, Jaylee Azure, Hamilton and Garfield crossed the plate.
