With a solid group of returning players back, the Wolf Point Yellowjackets aim to be competitive in the American Legion baseball race this season.

Coach Ray Ostby said there are about 20 players in the Babe Ruth/Legion ranks including 13 Babe Ruth players. “We would like more Legion players,” Ostby said.

Returning players include Terry Allmer at pitcher and first base. Allmer gained a good deal of experience this school year playing for a two-year college at Penn State.

Other players back include Trevin Boysun, outfielder Kelby Bauer, Preston Swenson and Charlie Page. Canyon Casterline will catch and play shortstop.

Pitching could be a strength with Allmer, Page and Boysun.
