Culbertson Earns One Victory During Major Baseball Tourney

The Culbertson Cubs earned one victory during the Big Muddy Major Baseball Tournament held in Scobey during the weekend.

Culbertson dropped a tough 14-6 game against Scobey in the first round.

The Cubs bounced back for a 20-7 victory over Froid/ Medicine Lake on Saturday, June 26.

Then, in a game that started on Saturday and then was completed on Sunday, June 27, Culbertson lost by an 18-17 final against Plentywood.

Scobey defeated Plentywood, 11-1, in the championship game.
