Dock Vandalized At Dredge Cut Trout Pond North Of Fort Peck


Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Region 6 game wardens are seeking any information regarding vandalism that occurred to a dock near the boat ramp on the Dredge Cut (Trout Pond) Fishing Access Site north of Fort Peck. The offender(s) apparently drove onto a dock and damaged it, according to a press release.
On the morning of Saturday, June 26, warden John Huberty responded to a 800-TIP-MONT call regarding the vandalism.
It appears that someone drove out on the dock and broke through, ultimately retrieving their vehicle.
Huberty estimated the incident occurred sometime between 5:30 p.m. on Friday, June 25, and 10 a.m. Saturday, June 26. Wardens are reaching out to the public for any information about the person or persons responsible.

The TIP-MONT program is a toll-free number where one can report violations of FWP regulations. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000 for providing information that leads to a conviction.
