Summer Theatre Opens The Spitfire Grill
On Friday, July 9, The Spitfire Grill joins Fort Peck Summer Theatre’s repertory offerings.
Fort Peck Fine Arts Council executive director said that the show will join a current rotation including You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown.
Said Fewer, “This heartwarming blues and folk tinged musical celebrates second chances, following Percy (played by Taylor Noll), a young woman who dreams of a new start in a small Wisconsin town. Her unique idea to save the struggling local diner takes the town on a journey of self-discovery while stories, good coffee and a hot breakfast are all served up at The Spitfire Grill.”
The Spitfire Grill is directed by Pam L. Veis, with Luree Green-Chappell as musical director and scenic design by returning alum Shy Iverson. Alongside Noll as Percy, the cast features Brittany Archambeault, Alicia Bullock- Muth, Chae Clearwood, Darren Green, Andy Meyers and Jay Michael Roberts.
Regular performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m.
The 2021 FPST season will continue with Baskerville (opening July 16), Godspell (July 28–31) and Terms of Endearment (Aug. 20–Sept. 5).
