Turns Around Celebration Coming Up Friday

The Turns Around Celebration in Poplar is set for Friday, Aug. 20, through Sunday, Aug. 22, at the powwow grounds in Poplar.

Grand entry times are Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 1 and 7 p.m. Camping day is Aug. 19 at American Legion Park and a parade is scheduled for Saturday at 10 a.m. (points awarded for entering).

The Fort Kipp Celebration will be Aug. 27-28 and Poplar Indian Days is set for Sept. 3-5. Following the death of longtime organizer Sandra Lilley last year, the powwow in Wolf Point has been postponed.
