County Approves Agreement For Court Expenses

The Roosevelt County Commissioners approved an agreement with the City of Wolf Point to pay the Justice of the Peace and City Court judge. The county’s share for the agreement is $14,096.28 per year.

Commissioners approved a quote of $4,395 from Montana Phone for a new phone system at the county building in Culbertson. The system will reduce the monthly bill by $189.

Commissioners agreed to a quote of $7,890.58 from Associated Cleaning Supply for the clerk and commissioners’ office. Commissioners decided to hold off many a decision of a new fair board members. Residents from Froid and Bainville have applied.

“It’s not very often that we have two applications for the same position,” commissioner Gary Macdonald said.

Commissioners will interview each candidate.

Devon Hughes resigned from the sheriff’s office.
