Commissioners Write Letter To Support Bathhouse

Roosevelt County commissioners agreed to write a letter of support for a new bathhouse at the Culbertson pool during their meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 17.

The hope is to obtain a grant from the Montana Department of Transportation.

Commissioner Gordon Oelkers said the pool is used by individuals from many communities.

The Culbertson Women’s Club has raised $132,000 for the bathhouse project so far.

Also during the meeting, commissioners appointed Marilyn Olson of Froid to the fair board.

Commissioners accepted the resignations of dispatch employee Drew Reum and IT employee Cole Hanks. Commissioners thanked them for their service.
