Poplar’s girls earned second- place team honors at the Glasgow Invitational held in Fort Peck on Saturday, Sept. 18.

The Indians finished with 49 points while Miles City topped the standings with 36 points.

Leading Poplar was Jazmin Gorder in fifth place with a time of 21:03.62.

Reinita Irizarry placed 15th at 22:57.62. Jazmyn Carry Water took 16th at 23:11.89.

Mattie Falls Brown finished 21th at 24:56.25. Rikki Belton was 45th at 28:32.57.

Precious Keiser placed 51st at 29:25.64. Gracelynn Medicine Cloud took 55th at 30:18.26.

Plentywood’s Annie Kaul was the individual winner with a time of 19:33.51.

In the boys’ division, Jase Frederick led Poplar with a personal best time of 19:08.97 for 15th place.

Morgan Mathison finished 30th at 20:42.37 and Geordy Medicine Cloud took 31st at 20:42.79.

Elijah Grey Bear took 45th at 22:13.25. Delray Lilly finished 48th at 22:53.19. Finesse Headdress was 59th at 27:53.77. Jaylen Red Dog took 60th at 28:09.11.

Alyssa Toce Blount led Frazer’s girls with a time of 25:53.66 for 31st place. Kalianna Toce Blount had a time of 28:46.00 for 46th place.

Brockton’s Lucille “Lucy” Hart placed 53rd at 29:45.74. In the boys’ division, Quinn’ Dale Pretty Paint took 52nd at 23:51.77. Charles Clark finished 57th at 27:22.30.

Teams will compete at the Frazer Invitational on Thursday, Sept. 23.
