Lustre Earns Win Over Frazer

The Lustre Christian Lions knocked off Frazer, 25-21, 2513, 25-10, in conference volleyball action on Tuesday, Sept. 28.

Leaders in kills for Lustre were Alexa Reddig with six, Grace Brown with four, Aubri Holzrichter with three.

Reddig served nine aces and Holzrichter added eight aces. Holzrichter had eight assists.

Leaders in digs were Reddig and Doven Birdsbill with two each.

During a tournament in Savage on Saturday, Oct. 2, the Lions dropped matches against Savage, 7-25, 17-25, Culbertson, 16-25, 20-25, and Nashua, 15-25, 18-25.

“We lost all three games, best two out of three, but it was a good experience for the girls to get out and have another tournament like day,” Lustre Coach Madison Neufeld said. “The girls have been improving every game still and really got a confidence boost after our win on Tuesday against Frazer.”
