her. If anyone walked into her house, she always made sure that they left with a full belly and a side ache from laughing. She loved cooking and visiting with family and friends.

She spent her free time making arts and crafts, listening to music, playing cards, solving word puzzles and talking on the phone. Her two sons and daughter were the loves of her life.

She is survived by her sons, Marcel and Kyle Four Bear; four grandchildren; sister, Rena Williams; adopted sister, Gay Pennington; and brothers, Cornell Four Bear, Dale Four Bear, Son Four Bear and Dana Comes Last She was preceded in death by her daughter, Reanna Joy; brothers, Charles and Delvin; sister, Vernell; and her sister/ cousin, Violet Comes Last.

Her funeral was held Monday, Oct. 4, at the Poplar Cultural Center in Poplar. Interment followed at Box Elder Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements.

Noreen Four Bear, 59, of Poplar died Sept. 24, 2021.

She was born on June 18, 1962, to Virgil Four Bear and Eleanora (Comes Last) Four Bear in Poplar. She attended school in Poplar, Riverside in Anadarko, Okla., and Kicking Horse Job Corps.

She was a country kid who grew up in the north Poplar area and spent a lot of time at her grandparents Rena and Daniel Comes Last’s ranch, where they had many animals, such as horses, chickens, goats and more. She spent a lot of time riding horses. Her grandpa Dan nicknamed her ‘Wiya’, and gifted her with a paint horse that she named Jigs, and a saddle. She had a soft spot for horses, which was why she was always ready to help her little brothers out the best she could. It was well known that the support that she had for her brothers and the horses was unfaltering. She was always full of questions about the herd and was quick to point out the ones she liked.
