Runners Earn Honors In Fairview
The Culbertson/Bainville boys placed second in the team standings during the cross-country meet held in Fairview on Saturday, Oct. 2.
The Cowboys finished with 15 points. Scobey earned first with 12 points.
Drae Nelson placed sixth with a time of 21:01.02. James Kirkaldie took seventh at 21:22.68.
Nyreece Halvorson finished eighth at 21:44.50 and Dawson Bergum was ninth at 21:58.93.
Mark Kirkaldie took 11th at 23:01.05 and Isaiah Bighorn was 12th at 23:12.73.
Trevor Green took 14th at 23:26.49. Maurie Bighorn finished 16th at 25:25.10.
Trenton’s Jalon Chapman was the overall winner in the boys’ division with a time of 18:39.74.
The Culbertson/Bainville girls finished with 21 points for second in the team standings. MonDak topped the standings with 20 points.
Kayli Olson finished sixth with a time of 22:23.23. Emma Poser earned seventh at 23:25.38.
Autumn Bergum took 11th place at 24:48.00. Megan Granbois placed 20th at 26:37.43.
Scobey’s Mya Green ran the course in 20:04.81 to finish first.
Competing for Brockton’s boys were Quinn’dale PrettyPaint with a time of 22:01.50 for 10th place and Quannah First That Walks at 26:34.50 for 20th place.
Sidney hosts a cross-country meet on Saturday, Oct. 9.
