Vaccination Clinics Scheduled In County

Roosevelt County reports 43 active cases including 23 new positive cases as of Friday, Oct. 15. There are eight current hospitalizations.

Vaccination clinics are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 21, from 3-6 p.m. in Wolf Point, Thursday, Oct. 28, from 3-6 p.m. in Culbertson, Thursday, Nov. 4, from 3-6 p.m. in Wolf Point and Thursday, Nov. 18, from 3-6 p.m. in Culbertson.

Call ahead to a health care professional if you develop symptoms of COVID-19 and have been in close contact with a person known to have COVID-19 or have recently traveled to an area with ongoing spread. Tell your health care professional about your recent travel or contact. Your healthcare provider will determine if testing for COVID-19 is appropriate for you.

Area Statistics

As of Friday, Oct. 15, Roosevelt County has 43 active cases and eight current hospitalization. There have been 57 COVID-related deaths reported in the county.

As of Monday, Oct. 18, Valley County’s active count was 144 cases. There have been 1,209 total cases and 24 reported COVID-reported deaths.

Daniels County had 17 active cases as of Tuesday, Oct. 19. The county has 244 recovered cases and 270 cumulative cases. Nine deaths have occurred due to COVID-19 and/or complications.

In McCone County, there are five active cases as of Monday, Oct. 18. There are 246 recovered cases. There have been two COVID-related deaths in the county.

Phillips County had 68 active cases as of Monday, Oct. 18. There have been 656 recovered cases and 22 COVID-related deaths.

For Richland County, there are 55 active cases and 1,639 recovered cases as of Tuesday, Oct. 12. Total COVID-related deaths are 18. There have been 1,712 total cases.

Statewide

According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 165,941 since the start of the pandemic. There have been 1,941,019 tests conducted.

Around the state, there are 11,109 active cases. There are 449 active hospitalizations. By Monday, Oct. 18, a total of 2,183 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 152,649 people have recovered.

Though there is no state mask mandate, local jurisdictions may still choose to implement their own mask requirements. Gov. Gianforte emphasized how providing incentives and encouraging personal responsibility are more effective than imposing unenforceable government mandates.

Vaccine Doses In Roosevelt County, 7,859 total doses have been administered. There have been 3,885 or 46 percent fully immunizations.

As of Monday, Oct. 18, 1,054,372 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 498,009 or 54 percent fully immunized Montanans.
