COVID Active Cases Reach 59 In County

Roosevelt County reports 59 active cases including 12 new positive cases as of Monday, Oct. 25. There are three current hospitalizations.

Call ahead to a health care professional if you develop symptoms of COVID-19 and have been in close contact with a person known to have COVID-19 or have recently traveled to an area with ongoing spread. Tell your health care professional about your recent travel or contact. Your healthcare provider will determine if testing for COVID-19 is appropriate for you.

Area Statistics

As of Monday, Oct. 25, Roosevelt County has 59 active cases and three current hospitalization. There have been 58 COVID-related deaths reported.

As of Monday, Oct. 25, Valley County’s active count was 104 cases. There have been 1,244 total cases and 25 reported COVID-reported deaths.

Daniels County had 14 active cases as of Tuesday, Oct. 26. The county has 261 recovered cases and 284 cumulative cases. Nine deaths have occurred due to COVID-19 and/or complications.

In McCone County, there are 11 active cases as of Monday, Oct. 25. There are 253 recovered cases. There have been three COVID-related deaths in the county.

Phillips County had 48 active cases as of Monday, Oct. 25. There have been 710 recovered cases and 22 COVID-related deaths. There are five active hospitalizations.

For Richland County, there are 42 active cases and 1,672 recovered cases as of Monday, Oct. 25. Total COVID-related deaths are 21. There have been 1,735 total cases.

Statewide

According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 171,981 since the start of the pandemic. There have been 1,981,679 tests conducted.

Around the state, there are 10,739 active cases. There are 447 active hospitalizations. By Monday, Oct. 25, a total of 2,259 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 158,983 people have recovered.

Though there is no state mask mandate, local jurisdictions may still choose to implement their own mask requirements. Gov. Gianforte emphasized how providing incentives and encouraging personal responsibility are more effective than imposing unenforceable government mandates.

Vaccine Doses

In Roosevelt County, 7,977 total doses have been administered. There have been 3,947 or 47 percent fully immunizations.

As of Monday, Oct. 25, 1,072,767 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 501,279 or 55 percent fully immunized Montanans.
