Elijah Grey Bear
Elijah Morris Grey Bear, 16, of Poplar died Oct. 17, 2021, in Poplar.
He was born in Wolf Point on Nov. 20, 2004, to Davi Dighans and Oral John Sr., “OJ.” Throughout his life, he was an avid athlete, participating in football and cross country, but basketball was his life. He started playing basketball at a very young age and never stopped.
His family always knew he would play ball because his first word was “ball.” He enjoyed being a lifeguard at the pool, culinary arts, hunting, spending time with his siblings, nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed cruising and spending time with his friends who were an important part of his life. He was currently a junior at Poplar High School.
He is survived by his parents, Davi and John Dighans and his father O.J.; siblings, Easton, Eljin, Orleena, Oral John Jr. and Killian; and grandparents, Marilee Buckles and Connie Fast Horse.
Services were held Monday, Oct. 25, at the Poplar High School. Interment was at Poplar City Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements.
