Rose Ferguson

Rose “Posie” Ferguson, 65, of Poplar died Oct. 19, 2021.

She was born in Poplar to George and Lois Ferguson on Oct. 9, 1956. She lived all her life in Poplar.

She lived a very simple life in her apartment at the Edgewater, where she had many friends who she loved dearly. She loved doing her word search puzzles and visiting with friends and family. Her most joy in life was caring for her niece Teri Lyn’s children.

She is survived by her daughters, Colleen, Crystal and Leonie; son, Murray; two grandchildren; sisters, Georgia, Sandra, Carlene, Ava, Connie, Jordis and Doreen; brothers, Jake, Billy and Leslie; and many grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Jeri Lynn; and grandson, Rodrick Thomas Renz.

A graveside service was held Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Poplar City Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel has entrusted with the arrangements.
