Lustre Christian’s Boys Return Three Starters For Season

Lustre Christian shoots to put together a solid campaign this boys’ basketball season. The Lions return three starters including Kolden Hoversland, Kaleb Hoversland and Elijah Lenihan. Kolden Hoversland earned All-State honors last season.

Cayden Klatt, a sophomore, also saw a great deal of playing time last year.

“I would say we’re as deep as we have ever been,” Lustre coach Randy Reddig said.

The Lions have a turnout of 15 players this season.

“That’s high for us,” Reddig said.

The coach feels the squad’s athleticism is a possible strength for the Lions.

With quite a few players about 6-3, the Lions should feature decent height this season.

Defending state champion Scobey is one of the favorites in District 3C entering the season.

“I think it is going to be pretty wide open,” Reddig said. “I think it will be a good district.”

The Lions will open their season at the tip-off tournament in Glasgow. Lustre faces Turner on Friday, Dec. 3, and then Plentywood on Saturday, Dec. 4.
