Flight Passengers Continue To Increase

Flying trips continue to steadily increase from Wolf Point as the year progresses. The number of enplanements from L.M. Clayton Airport has significantly improved compared to 2020.
The number of enplanements out of Wolf Point during October was 280, which is a 35.9 percent increase from October 2020.
Other monthly enplanements included 305 in May, 323 in June, 332 in July, 309 in August and 267 in September. The figure in July was a 34.4 percent increase compared to July 2020.
Wolf Point’s enplanements of 280 on Cape Air flights during October were higher than both Havre at 269 and Glendive at 197. Cape Air had 1,688 enplanements in Billings during the month. Other airports were Sidney with 715 enplanements and Glasgow with 310 enplanements.
For the year, Wolf Point ranks third in the state for Cape Air enplanements with 2,799 only behind Billings at 16,084 and Sidney at 6,843. Glasgow ranks fourth at 2,791 and Glendive is fifth at 1,773.
Glasgow’s most busy months were July with 337 enplanements and August with 332 enplanements.
In April, Cape Air introduced the Wolf Point community to Cape Air’s new P2012 Traveller Tecnam plane. The large cabin can accommodate up to 11 seats including a maximum of nine passengers. The plane features under- seat storage for passenger to put items including purses in, a cup holder, USB chargers, heat, air conditioning and overhead lights.
