Froid/Lake Girls Knock Off Shelby Team

Froid/Lake’s girls’ basketball team stopped Shelby, 5029, during action in Shelby on Friday, Dec. 10.

The Red Hawks took a 14-3 lead in the first quarter and then outscored Shelby by a 13-0 margin in the second quarter.

Carolyne Christoffersen and Dasani Nesbit scored 17 points each to lead the Red Hawks.

Also scoring were Baylee Davidson with six, Brooklynn Nordwick with six and Mara Salvevold with four.

Vivi McDermott led Shelby with 13 points.
