Bainville Boys Stay Hot Against Fusion
The Bainville Bulldogs accounted for a big second quarter and downed Richey/ Lambert, 57-49, during boys’ basketball action in Bainville on Saturday, Dec. 18.
The conference battle was deadlocked at 11-11 after the first quarter. The Bulldogs outscored Richey/Lambert 21-11 in the second quarter for a 32-22 advantage.
Braeden Romo scored 13 points in the second quarter.
Bainville held a 42-36 lead after the third quarter.
Romo scored 20 points to lead Bainville’s attack. Also reaching double figures were Jesse Strickland with 15 and Ayden Knudsen with 12 points. Rounding out the scoring were Reid Anderson with eight and Alex Strickland with two.
Grady Gonsioroski accounted for 25 of the Fusion’s points. Josh Sponheim scored eight and Brett Mullin added seven.
