Bulldogs Knock Off Fusion Girls, 44-42

The Bainville Bulldogs fought off Richey/Lambert, 44-42, for a home girls’ basketball victory on Saturday, Dec. 18.

Bainville took a 12-11 lead in the first quarter, but the Fusion gained a 28-20 half-time advantage.

The Bulldogs responded with 12 points in the third quarter to close the margin to 35-32.

Bainville outscored Richey/Lambert by a 12-7 margin in the final period. Berwick scored eight points in the fourth quarter for the comeback victory.

Top scorers for the Bulldogs were Elsie Wilson and Tally Berwick with 14 points each. Also scoring were Lakyn Rabbe with seven, Miah Pippenger with five, Kaitlyn Adkins with two and Kendra Romo with two.
