Cowgirls Defeats Bainville Squad

The Culbertson Cowgirls enjoyed a strong start and earned a 61-31 basketball victory in Bainville Friday, Dec. 17.

The Cowgirls jumped out to a 17-4 advantage during the first quarter of the contest.

Culbertson then accounted for 25 points in the second quarter for a 42-14 half-time advantage.

The Cowgirls led 56-19 after three quarters of play.

Reaching double figures for Culbertson were Megan Granbois with 20, Makena Hauge with 17 and Destiny Thompson with 13 points.

Also scoring were Autumn Bergum with six, Perla Burciaga with three and Kenadee Kempton with two points.

Kaityn Adkins led Bainville with nine points.

Also scoring for the Bulldogs were Elsie Wilson with seven, Lakyn Rabbe with six, Tally Berwick with four and Kendra Romo with one.
