A skinny mama and her puppies found last week in Poplar tuck into a meal at the Pound Puppies facility in Wolf Point. Tina Betshismedicine told the Northern Plains Independent that the organization is overwhelmed with area need. “We’ve sure had our share of frozen animals needing a spot,” she said.
