Basketball Squads Return To Action

Area high school basketball teams are ready to return to the hardwood after the holiday break. Carrying an undefeated record, the Culbertson Cowgirls shoot to remain one of the top District 2C teams. The Culbertson teams will head to Circle on Friday, Jan. 7, and then host Plentywood on Saturday, Jan. 8. Plentywood’s girls qualified for the state tournament last year.

The Froid/Lake boys’ basketball team continues working on its path to another state tournament berth. The undefeated Red Hawks face one of their tougher regular- season weekends as they will travel to Plentywood on Friday, Jan. 7, and to Fairview on Saturday, Jan. 8.

The Bainville Bulldogs also have a busy week with contests at MonDak on Friday, Jan. 7, and at Circle on Saturday, Jan. 8.
