Vaccination Clinics Scheduled For Adults, Children

Roosevelt County had five active cases of COVID-19 with no current hospitalization as of Dec. 29. There have been 68 confirmed COVID-related deaths in the county.

County health officials encourage all residents aged 5 and up to be vaccinated and those over 16 should consider getting booster doses. Immunizations are by appointment only. For questions or to schedule an appointment, call 406-653-6223.

Adult vaccination clinics are scheduled from 3-6 p.m. on Jan. 6 in Wolf Point, Jan. 13 in Wolf Point, Jan. 20 in Wolf Point and Jan. 27 in Culbertson.

Vaccination clinics for children, ages 5-11, is from 1-4 p.m. on Jan. 7 and Jan. 14 in Wolf Point.

Area Statistics

Daniels County had zero active cases as of Thursday, Dec. 30. The county has 305 recovered cases and 314 cumulative cases. Nine deaths have occurred due to COVID-19 and/or complications.

Valley County reports nine active cases as of Monday, Jan. 3. The county has 1,362 recovered cases and 1,403 cumulative cases. There have been 32 COVID-related deaths.

In McCone County, there are no active cases as of Monday, Jan. 3. There have been eight COVID-related deaths in the county. There have been 308 recovered cases and 316 cumulative cases.

Phillips County had nine active cases as of Monday, Jan. 3. There have been 856 recovered cases and 26 COVID-related deaths.

For Richland County, there were 46 active cases and 2,025 recovered cases as of Wednesday, Dec. 29. Total COVID-related deaths are 30. There have been 2,101 total cases.

Sheridan County had three active cases as of Monday, Jan. 3. There have been 551 recovered cases and 10 COVID-related deaths.

Statewide

According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 198,520 since the start of the pandemic. There have been 2,292,674 tests conducted.

Around the state, there are 3,104 active cases. There are 127 active hospitalizations. By Monday, Jan. 3, a total of 2,908 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 192,508 people have recovered. A total of 10,433 have been hospitalized.

Vaccine Doses

As of Monday, Jan. 3, 1,332,196 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 539,983 or 53 percent fully immunized Montanans.

In Roosevelt County, 10,406 total doses have been administered as of Monday, Jan. 3. There are 4,459 fully immunized for 45 percent of the county’s 9,918 eligible for vaccination.

In Valley County, 7,384 total doses have been administered. There are 3,085 fully immunized for 45 percent of the county’s 6,931 eligible for vaccination.

In Daniels County, 1,648 total doses have been administered. There are 676 fully immunized for 43 percent of the county’s 1,559 eligible for vaccination.

In McCone County, 1,036 total doses have been administered. There are 421 fully immunized for 27 percent of the county’s 1,562 eligible for vaccination.

In Richland County, 9,186 total doses have been administered. There are 4,044 fully immunized for 39 percent of the county’s 10,310 eligible for vaccination.

In Phillips County, 4,078 total doses have been administered. There are 1,724 fully immunized for 47 percent of the county’s 3,675 eligible for vaccination.

In Sheridan County, 4,470 total doses have been administered. There are 1,805 fully immunized for 59 percent of the county’s 3,075 eligible for vaccination.
