Number Of COVID Cases Increasing In State
Roosevelt County had six active cases of COVID-19 with no current hospitalization as of Jan. 10. There have been 68 confirmed COVID-related deaths in the county.
County health officials encourage all residents aged 5 and up to be vaccinated and those over 16 should consider getting booster doses. Immunizations are by appointment only. For questions or to schedule an appointment, call 406-653-6223.
Adult vaccination clinics are scheduled from 3-6 p.m. on Jan. 13 in Wolf Point, Jan. 20 in Wolf Point and Jan. 27 in Culbertson.
Vaccination clinics for children, ages 5-11, is from 1-4 p.m. on Jan. 14 in Wolf Point.
Area Statistics
Daniels County had four active cases as of Tuesday, Jan. 4. The county has 305 recovered cases and 318 cumulative cases. Nine deaths have occurred due to COVID-19 and/or complications.
Valley County reports 37 active cases as of Monday, Jan. 10. The county has 1,366 recovered cases and 1,435 cumulative cases. There have been 32 COVID-related deaths.
In McCone County, there are three active cases as of Monday, Jan. 10. There have been eight COVID-related deaths in the county. There have been 310 recovered cases and 321 cumulative cases.
Phillips County had 12 active cases as of Tuesday, Jan. 4. There have been 856 recovered cases and 26 COVID-related deaths.
For Richland County, there were 30 active cases and 2,064 recovered cases as of Tuesday, Jan. 4. Total COVID-related deaths are 30. There have been 2,124 total cases.
Sheridan County had five active cases as of Tuesday, Jan. 4. There have been 551 recovered cases and 10 COVID-related deaths.
Statewide
According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 204,788 since the start of the pandemic. There have been 2,337,369 tests conducted.
Around the state, there are 7,713 active cases. There are 154 active hospitalizations. By Monday, Jan. 10, a total of 2,921 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 194,154 people have recovered. A total of 10,534 have been hospitalized.
Vaccine Doses
As of Monday, Jan. 10, 1,346,290 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 542,524 or 53 percent fully immunized Montanans.
In Roosevelt County, 10,632 total doses have been administered as of Monday, Jan. 10. There are 4,550 fully immunized for 46 percent of the county’s 9,918 eligible for vaccination.
In Valley County, 7,471 total doses have been administered. There are 3,116 fully immunized for 45 percent of the county’s 6,931 eligible for vaccination.
In Daniels County, 1,666 total doses have been administered. There are 681 fully immunized for 44 percent of the county’s 1,559 eligible for vaccination.
In McCone County, 1,038 total doses have been administered. There are 420 fully immunized for 27 percent of the county’s 1,562 eligible for vaccination.
In Richland County, 9,268 total doses have been administered. There are 4,550 fully immunized for 39 percent of the county’s 10,310 eligible for vaccination.
In Phillips County, 4,108 total doses have been administered. There are 1,724 fully immunized for 47 percent of the county’s 3,675 eligible for vaccination.
In Sheridan County, 4,500 total doses have been administered. There are 1,813 fully immunized for 59 percent of the county’s 3,075 eligible for vaccination.
