Red Hawks Down Fairview Girls

The Froid/Lake girls’ basketball team enjoyed a strong start and picked up a 48-32 league victory in Fairview on Saturday, Jan. 8.

The Red Hawks jumped out to an 11-3 lead in the first quarter. Froid/Lake held a 2111 half-time advantage.

Froid/Lake then exploded for 15 points in the third period to take control at 36-13 in the third quarter.

Reaching double figures for the Red Hawks were Baylee Davidson with 13 and Carolyne Christoffersen with 12 points.

Rounding out the scoring were Dasani Nesbit with nine, Brooklyn Nordwick with eight, Alexa Nelson with three, Missouri Kalai with two and Jaeleigh Davidson with one.

Megan Asbeck led Fairview with 11 points.

The Red Hawks will host Bainville on Thursday, Jan. 13.
