Bainville’s Girls Outscore Fairview
Bainville’s strong defense effort resulted in a 52-30 girls’ basketball win over Fairview on Saturday, Jan. 14.
The Bulldogs earned a 13-1 advantage in the first quarter. Lakyn Rabbe scored four points in the period and Hailey Berwick connected on a three-pointer.
Bainville increased its cushion to 26-2 in the second quarter. Kaitlyn Adkins fired in two three-pointers to lead the Bulldogs’ attack.
Bainville enjoyed a 41-10 lead after three quarters of play.
Reaching double figures for the Bulldogs were Elsie Wilson with 13 and Berwick with 11 points.
Also scoring were Adkins with eight, Rabbe with seven, Kendra Romo with four, Tally Berwick with three, Miah Pippenger with two, Brecklyn Pippenger with two and Addison Hansen with two.
Carly Buxbaum accounted for 14 of Fairview’s points. Brooklyn Anderson and Lauren Kjos added six points each for the Warriors.
The Bulldogs will host Plentywood on Friday, Jan. 21, and travel to Brockton on Saturday, Jan. 22.
