Bainville Girls Lose To Plentywood

Bainville’s girls basketball team lost to league-leading Plentywood by a 64-21 final on Friday, Jan. 21.

The Wildcats led 18-10 at the end of the first quarter and by a 38-10 half-time margin. Plentywood then outscored the Bulldogs by an 18-6 margin in the third quarter.

Lakyn Rabbe scored seven points to lead Bainville. Also scoring for the Bulldogs were Elsie Wilson with five, Miah Pippenger with three, Brecklyn Pippenger with three, Lila Butikofer with two and Hailey Berwick with one.

Top scorers for Plentywood were Emma Brensdal with 22, Annie Kaul with 15 and Liv Wangerin with 13 points.

The Bulldogs will travel to Lustre on Friday, Jan. 28, and host Savage on Saturday, Jan. 29.
