Bulldogs Outscore Brockton

Bainville broke away in the second half to down Brockton, 52-30, during boys’ basketball play in Brockton on Saturday, Jan. 22.

Ahead by only a 19-18 halftime margin, the Bulldogs scored 18 points in the third quarter to earn a 37-25 lead.

Bainville added 15 points in the fourth quarter for the 22-point victory.

Top scorers for the Bulldogs included Jesse Strickland with 19 and Samuel Butikofer with 15 points. Ayden Knudsen added nine points. Also scoring were Alex Strickland with five and Braeden Romo with four.

Top scorers for Brockton were Quincy Belgarde with 10 and QuinnDale Pretty Paint with nine.

Also scoring for the Warriors were Blair Stump with eight, Wambidi Yellow Hammer with two and Will Burshia with one.

The Bulldogs will play at Lustre on Friday, Jan. 28, and host Savage on Saturday, Jan. 29.
