Lady Wolves Fall To Malta

Wolf Point’s girls basketball team fell behind early and lost its league contest at Malta, 50-35, on Saturday, Jan. 22.

Malta took a 16-5 lead in the first quarter and held a 28-12 advantage at the half.

The margin was 41-24 after three quarters of play.

Top scorers for the Wolves included Josie Kolstad with nine and Sierra Hamilton with seven points.

Also scoring were Katelyn MacDonald with six, Adeia Erickson with five, Hamyanie Campbell with five and Haidyn Raining Bird with three.

Leading Malta were Allison Kunze with 13, Addy Anderson with 12 and Maddie Williamson with 11 points.

The Wolves will travel to Sidney on Thursday, Jan. 27, and to Glasgow on Friday, Jan. 28.
