Players Selected For All-Star Game
Four players from the state champion Froid/Lake Red Hawks have been selected to play in the six-man All-Star football game in Custer on Friday, June 3.
Selected from the Red Hawks for the Blue team were seniors Brett Stentoft, Ashdyn Hobbs, Connor Huft and Javonne Nesbit.
All four players were All-State selections as they led the Red Hawks to their second straight state championship.
Froid/Lake’s Coach Michael Ritter was picked to serve as the Blue team’s head coach.
The Red Hawks defeated Power/Dutton/Brady, 43-0, in the state title game.
Bainville’s Braeden Romo was voted to play for the Red Team. Romo was an All-State performer for the Bulldogs.
Other Eastern C players selected for the game included Grady Gonsioroski of Richey/Lambert, Brett Mullin of Richey/Lambert, Walker Colvin of Jordan, Cooper Hofer of Savage and Caesn Erickson of Savage.
