Bainville Boys Outscore Savage

Bainville’s boys’ basketball team outscored Savage, 23-4, in the second quarter and defeated the Warriors, 72-43, on Saturday, Jan. 29.

Savage jumped out to a 2214 lead in the first quarter, but Bainville’s big second quarter put the Bulldogs up 37-26.

The Bulldogs then struck for 20 points in the third quarter for a 57-35 advantage.

Braeden Romo led the Bulldogs’ attack with 20 points. Also reaching double figures were Ayden Knudsen with 15, Charles Butikofer with 11, Samuel Butikofer with 11 and Jesse Strickland with 10.

Reid Anderson, Alex Strickland and Adrian Anderson scored two points each.

Savage’s top scorers were Caesn Erickson with 13 and Cade Tombre with 10 points.

The Bulldogs will play at Richey/Lambert on Friday, Feb. 4, and host Circle on Saturday, Feb. 5.
