Bainville Girls Down Lustre Christian

Bainville’s girls’ basketball squad posted a 60-24 win at Lustre Christian on Friday, Jan. 28.

The Bulldogs jumped out to a 22-0 advantage in the first quarter. Elsie Wilson scored 12 of Bainville’s points in the quarter.

Bainville held a 42-7 halftime advantage.

Top scorers for Bainville were Wilson with 16 and Hailey Berwick with 10 points.

Lakyn Rabbe, Brecklyn Pippenger and Kaitlyn Adkins scored eight points each. Also scoring were Miah Pippenger with six, Kendra Romo with two and Tally Berwick with two.

Lustre, playing All-State player Alexa Redding due to injury, was led by Aubri Holzrichter with 14 points and Grace Brown with 10 points.
