Bulldogs Drop Contest To Savage

Bainville’s girls got off to a slow start and lost to Savage, 56-46, on Saturday, Jan. 29.

Savage took a 16-6 lead in the first quarter with Brooke Reuter scoring six of the points.

The Bulldogs scored 15 points in the second period and trailed 33-21 at the half. Bainville’s Miah Pippenger and Elsie Wilson each scored five points in the quarter. Reuter accounted for nine of Savage’s points in the period.

Savage held a 45-37 advantage after three quarters of play. Hailey Berwick scored 10 of Bainville’s 16 points in the third quarter. Savage’s Teah Conradsen had eight points in the period.

H. Berwick finished the game with 13 points to lead the Bulldogs. Wilson added nine points. Scoring five points each were M. Pippenger, Brecklyn Pippenger and Tally Berwick. Lakyn Rabbe and Kendra Romo scored two points each.

Top scorers for the Warriors were Reuter with 20, Cambry Conradsen with 16 and T. Conradsen with 11.
