County Reports 189 Active COVID Cases

Roosevelt County has 189 active cases as of Monday, Jan. 31. There have been 70 COVID-related deaths in the county.

County health officials encourage all residents aged 5 and up to be vaccinated and those over 16 should consider getting booster doses. Immunizations are by appointment only. For questions or to schedule an appointment, call 406-653-6223.

Adult vaccination clinics are scheduled from 3-6 p.m. on Feb. 3 in Wolf Point, and on Feb. 17 in Wolf Point.

There will be a vaccination clinic for children, ages 5-11, from 1-4 p.m. on Feb. 4 in Wolf Point.

RCHD Home Testing

Home testing is becoming the norm. If you get a positive result on a home test, isolate away from community and family members, then report to hometest.mt.gov.

Area Statistics

Daniels County had seven active cases as of Monday, Jan. 31. The county has 344 recovered cases and 360 cumulative cases. Nine deaths have occurred due to COVID-19 and/or complications.

In McCone County, there are 10 active cases as of Monday, Jan. 31. There have been nine COVID-related deaths in the county. There have been 343 recovered cases and 362 cumulative cases.

For Richland County, there were 113 active cases and 2,230 recovered cases as of Monday, Jan. 31. Total COVID-related deaths are 30. There have been 2,373 total cases.

Sheridan County had 21 active cases as of Friday, Jan. 28. There have been 609 recovered cases and 10 COVID-related deaths.

Statewide

According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 242,180 since the start of the pandemic. There have been 2,512,786 tests conducted.

Around the state, there are 18,607 active cases. There are 310 active hospitalizations. By Monday, Jan. 31, a total of 3,000 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 220,573 people have recovered. A total of 11,002 have been hospitalized.

Vaccine Doses

As of Monday, Jan. 31, 1,378,098 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 548,467 or 54 percent fully immunized Montanans.

In Roosevelt County, 11,410 total doses have been administered as of Monday, Jan. 31. There are 4,736 fully immunized for 48 percent of the county’s 9,918 eligible for vaccination.

In Valley County, 7,600 total doses have been administered. There are 3,139 fully immunized for 45 percent of the county’s 6,931 eligible for vaccination.

In Daniels County, 1,689 total doses have been administered. There are 686 fully immunized for 44 percent of the county’s 1,559 eligible for vaccination.

In McCone County, 1,093 total doses have been administered. There are 424 fully immunized for 27 percent of the county’s 1,562 eligible for vaccination.
