Karge Files For County Commissioner
Wolf Point resident Craig Karge has filed for the Roosevelt County county commissioner election.
Karge filed for the position on Friday, Jan. 28.
Edward L. Bach and Robert Toavs previously filed for the office, which is currently held by Duane Nygaard.
The primary election is scheduled for June 7. The general election is June 8.
Candidate filing closes on March 14.
Individuals who have filed for sheriff include incumbent Jason Frederick, Brent Nygard, David Gonzales and Coretta Greybear.
Others who have filed include county attorney Frank Piocos, clerk and recorder/public administrator Cheryl A. Hansen, justice of the peace for post no. 1 Traci Harada and treasurer/accessor Betty Romo.
