The Lustre Christian High School boys played at Scobey, Tuesday, Jan. 25, in an exciting, well played game, winning 54-45. The girls team lost and also lost Alexis Reddig due to injury.
Tuesday evening at LCHS, the Awana Grand Prix was enjoyed by parents and grandparents as well as students. Winners in the speed category were Damboise Wheeler, first; Hannah Pancratz, second; and Lauren Fast, third. Winners in the design category were Aubrey Klatt, first; Samuel Byers, second; and Joseph Olfert, third. Each received a trophy. It was a treat to see all the creative designs.
Winners of the grades 4-8 spelling bee at Lustre Grade School Friday, Jan. 28, were Cameron Reddig, first; Diek Olfert, second; Justin Schiller, third; Prestyn Klatt, fourth; and Coleman Hilkemann, fifth. A challenge to the alternate replaced Joel Reddig with Haddon Olfert.
