Poplar’s Girls Win Wrestling Matches

Poplar’s girls’ wrestlers dominated during action in Cascade and Simms last weekend.

The three Poplar girls combined for a 15-0 record.

Jazmin Gorder posted a 5-0 record including winning on a pin over Kaylin Taylor, who was a state champion at 103 pounds last year.

Precious Keiser had a record of 6-0 during the weekend.

Angelina Escarcega posted a 4-0 record for the weekend.

The state meet is scheduled for Feb. 11-12.
