Red Hawks Knock Off Circle Boys, 61-29
Froid/Lake had 12 players score and the Red Hawks cruised to a 61-29 home boys’ basketball win over Circle on Saturday, Jan. 29.
The Red Hawks jumped out to a 29-4 advantage in the first quarter. Patton Bighorn hit two three-pointers and tallied eight points in the period.
Froid/Lake increased the margin to 50-9 in the second quarter. Brett Stentoft and Tyler Wivholm each had four points in the quarter.
Top scorers were Wivholm with nine, B. Stentoft with eight and Bighorn with eight. Adding six points each were Connor Huft, Mason Dethman and Ashdyn Hobbs.
Rounding out the scoring were Nate Stentoft with five, Max Engelke with four, Caden Kelm with four, Javonne Nesbit with two, Landen Kelm with two and Bode Miller with one point.
Circle’s top scorers were Arley Idland with 15 and Donovan Gibbs with eight points.
The Red Hawks will head to Culbertson on Friday, Feb. 4.
