COVID Vaccination Clinic Set For Feb. 17
Roosevelt County had 124 active cases as of Wednesday, Feb. 9. There have been 70 COVID-related deaths in the county. Updated totals were unavailable as of presstime Tuesday.
County health officials encourage all residents aged 5 and up to be vaccinated and those over 16 should consider getting booster doses. Immunizations are by appointment only. For questions or to schedule an appointment, call 406-653-6223.
Adult vaccination clinics are scheduled from 3-6 p.m. on Feb. 17 in Wolf Point and on Feb. 24 in Culbertson.
There will be a vaccination clinic for children, ages 5-11, from 1-4 p.m. on Feb. 25 in Wolf Point.
Area Statistics
Daniels County had three active cases as of Monday, Feb. 14. The county has 369 recovered cases and 3681 cumulative cases. Nine deaths have occurred due to COVID-19 and/or complications.
Valley County reports 44 active cases as of Friday, Feb. 11. The county has 1,549 recovered cases and 1,628 cumulative cases. There have been 35 COVID-related deaths.
In McCone County, there are five active cases as of Friday, Feb. 11. There have been nine COVID-related deaths in the county. There have been 366 recovered cases and 380 cumulative cases.
Phillips County had 31 active cases as of Thursday, Feb. 10. There have been 963 recovered cases and 27 COVID-related deaths.
For Richland County, there were 22 active cases and 2,456 recovered cases as of Friday, Feb. 11. Total COVID-related deaths are 30. There have been 2,508 total cases.
Sheridan County had six active cases as of Monday, Feb. 14. There have been 646 recovered cases and 11 COVID-related deaths.
Statewide
According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 257,852 since the start of the pandemic. There have been 2,594,517 tests conducted.
Around the state, there are 4,587 active cases. There are 266 active hospitalizations. By Monday, Feb. 14, a total of 3,072 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 250,193 people have recovered. A total of 11,336 have been hospitalized.
North Dakota Statistics
Williams County, N.D., had 80 active cases as of Tuesday, Feb. 15, bringing the cumulative total to 10,227. There have been 68 COVID-related deaths.
McKenzie County, N.D., had 23 active cases as of Tuesday, Feb. 15, bringing the cumulative total to 3,199. There have been 25 COVID-related deaths.
Divide County, N.D., had one cases as of Tuesday, Feb. 15, bringing the cumulative total to 453. There have been four COVID-related deaths.
Vaccine Doses
As of Monday, Feb. 14, 1,397,159 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 552,745 or 54 percent fully immunized Montanans.
In Roosevelt County, 11,631 total doses have been administered as of Monday, Feb. 14. There are 4,838 fully immunized for 49 percent of the county’s 9,918 eligible for vaccination.
In Valley County, 7,706 total doses have been administered. There are 3,160 fully immunized for 46 percent of the county’s 6,931 eligible for vaccination.
In Daniels County, 1,711 total doses have been administered. There are 697 fully immunized for 45 percent of the county’s 1,559 eligible for vaccination.
In McCone County, 1,098 total doses have been administered. There are 424 fully immunized for 27 percent of the county’s 1,562 eligible for vaccination. In Richland County, 9,668 total doses have been administered. There are 4,157 fully immunized for 40 percent of the county’s 10,310 eligible for vaccination.
In Phillips County, 4,219 total doses have been administered. There are 1,757 fully immunized for 48 percent of the county’s 3,675 eligible for vaccination.
In Sheridan County, 4,593 total doses have been administered. There are 1,829 fully immunized for 59 percent of the county’s 3,075 eligible for vaccination.
