Lustre Posts Conference Victory Over Dodson

Lustre’s boys’ basketball squad ended its regular season by defeated Dodson, 60-43, on Saturday, Feb. 12.

The Lions gained a 16-9 lead in the first quarter and held a 36-21 half-time advantage.

Kolden Hoversland enjoyed a big night with 27 points. Elijah Lenihan added 16 points and Jasiah Hambira had 11 points. Also scoring were Kaleb Hoversland with three, Cayden Klatt with two and Braden Ewing with one.

Ewing grabbed eight rebounds. Having five rebounds each were Klatt, Kolden Hoversland, Lenihan and Hambira. Kolden Hoversland had four steals. Kaleb Hoversland dished out four assists.

Lustre’s girls dropped their contest by a 46-35 final.

Dodson took a 31-28 lead in the third quarter and added 15 points in the final period.

Top scorers for the Lions were Hannah Brown with 11, Grace Brown with 10 and Aubri Holzrichter with 10 points.

Abby Oifert and Jaden Gibson added two points each.
