MonDak Ag Days In Sidney Scheduled For March 3-4
The MonDak Ag Days and Trade Show are scheduled for March 3-4, at the Richland County Event Center in Sidney.
This year’s banquet will feature Laura and the Soo Valley Boys. The banquet starts at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $45 and are available at the Sidney Area Chamber of Commerce office or at the door.
Ag Days’ presentations on Thursday, March 3, will include Tyler Tjelde discussing soybean production at 9 a.m., Patrick Gilchrist with the weather outlook for 2022 at 10 a.m., Brian Jenks covering weed control at 11 a.m., Paul Detloff on water quality and heribices at 1 p.m. and Ryan Buetow and Chris Augustin discussing soil health and fodder removal from 2-4 p.m. Three pesticide points are available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Programs on Friday, March 4, will include Gordon Holt on the crop market outlook at 10 a.m., Dr. Chengci Chen on fertilizer and irrigation effects on sugar beet yield at 11 a.m., and range recovery after drought at 1 p.m.
